Shoes are an essential factor when completing a look and we, at David Manufacture, stock only the best handmade leather shoes from the distinguished Heinrich Dinkelacker Company. If we don’t have your size or style preference in stock, we will happily order them for you.

Heinrich Dinkelacker Shoes are handcrafted according to ancient tradition. They are high quality shoes requiring precise workmanship. Each pair takes approximately 8-10 weeks to make, undergoing strict testing throughout manufacture to ensure excellence.

Heinrich Dinkelacker Shoes use the traditional Goodyear Welt process whereby a welt of leather is stitched to the upper and insole of a shoe, as an attach point for the sole. The space enclosed by the welt is then filled with cork. This method evolved from the inventor Christian Dancel (1847-1898), who was famous for his inventions relating to the stitching and manufacture of shoes. Charles Goodyear Junior took Dancel’s inventions one step further and invented a machine that attached the sole of a shoe to the upper using a welt, hence the name Goodyear Welt, a name that is synonymous with luxury handmade leather shoes.
