With size templates the leather upper and lining are cut to size. The main body is made from calf leather and sewn by hand. Now the upper and the sole are stitched together incorporating the Goodyear welt. Between the outer sole and insole an insulating cork lining is inserted. The outer sole is stitched to the main body. This procedure allows for a simple repair of the sole. The heel is then attached. After a final polish the shoe is finished and will be packed.
